Engagement Pictures Are Here!

Are you ready to feel the love?!

Planning a wedding with your soon to be spouse really puts you through some tests but in a good way. It's the biggest event the two of you will ever plan in your life and when there are a difference of opinions you truly learn a lot about the other person. I'm finding out more and more every day that Cordero is the one for me. He's so easy going and thankfully we have a lot of the same taste when it comes to food, style not so much. If Cordero had his way, we'd be getting married in jeans and a button up shirt.

I'm lucky to be blessed with a man that will help pick out and address our Save The Dates. A man that will run all over town with me to find the perfect caterer and bakery. And when my doubts come about that I may not find the perfect bakery in our price range, he's ready to get in the kitchen with me so I can make our own dessert bar!

On top of all the wedding planning, I recently had a girls trip with my Maid-Of-Honor, Taylor, and my bridesmaid, Alise, for a dress fitting. My dress came in super early so let the alterations begin! We had an absolute blast over the weekend with my family and I cannot not wait to do it again! Now, lets get to these pictures!

Engagement pictures are a process, let me tell you. It took close to three hours for just my hair and makeup to get done alone. On top of that, it was extremely COLD, I mean FREEZING and guess who decided to wear a dress? Me! Ok, well technically I was told by a certain someone *cough Taylor cough* that I was not allowed to wear leggings and needed to wear a dress, so here we are......freezing to death. But our pictures turned out great!

Also, for those that do not know, our first date was in Cordero's jeep while he showed me around town. So naturally, since we both are Jeepers, we had to have Cord's jeep in the back ground!

Of course we had to add Lola into our pictures, I mean she is our first child! Am I allowed to mention how handsome my man looks! Now, I would not change him for the world but lord knows "every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man!" Talk about dreaming....better stop before I start drooling!

Now even though I looked great and Cordero looked so handsome, Lola stole the show! I mean look at that face! Don't let her fool you though, it took a lot to get this picture but a squeaky toy, a can of wet dog food and a spoon did the trick! If she isn't the most pretty dog you've seen, well then we can't be friends! Just kidding but seriously look at her face!

Now not to gloat but if you've not seen my ring, there it goes. I told Cordero I wanted something different than what everyone else had and that diamonds where not that important. Boy did he nail it! I won't lie, there are days I catch myself just gazing at it in the sunlight.

Thankfully we got to change into our second outfit, which was so much warmer! As you can tell Cord is a lot more comfortable in some jeans and a button up. I love how the sun light is dusting over us and the old red barn in the back ground is absolutely perfect! Now for my favorite!

This right here makes me want to tear up. The peace this brings me I don't think anyone will ever be able to understand. This man is everything I could image and so much more!

Of course we had to have some goofy pictures! This was my...Gotta make myself shorter than Cord pose! We are the same height sadly and depending on where I was standing I was taller than him!

I just love the LOVE in all these pictures!

I think I will make this the last picture of the night. I could go on and on with this pictures and how much I love this man!

Since we got our engagement pictures, I finally was able to get our Save-The-Dates made and they will be sent out in the next week or so! We are working on setting up hotel rooms for our guest and so much more! I still have signs I have to make, ornaments to design and seating charts to arrange. The list is never ending!

So with this, I bid everyone goodnight! I have to get to bed as I have a day of yard work a head of me tomorrow!

P.S - I would like to thank Dan Harris at Grand Visuals & Co. for our amazing pictures and cannot wait to work with him on our wedding day!
