I have always had a niche for being crafty and loved to be in the kitchen. I'm always starting projects in my spare time and had wanted to push it as a full time position for years.

At the end of 2018 I lost my long term job, was completely devastated and had no idea how I was going to help support my family. We had just moved into our new house and spent a lot of our savings on moving expenses and down deposits. What were we going to?!

​

I finally decided, that while still looking for job, I was going to invest in myself instead of these multi-million dollar companies who only looked at me as a disposable number. That is the story of how Owl Be Shabby came along. 

​

I'm just a simple southern gal who loves to craft, cook, her fiance and dogs! Late this year, 2019, I will be marrying the man of dreams and couldn't be more over the moon in love. It's the love story that I thought was only possible in fairy tails but I found my Prince!

Other than the love I have for my man, I spread the love to my "children", other wise knows as Lola the Pitbull and Finn the Schnauzer Mutt. Lola was my first "child" and be prepared to see her featured in many blog entries to come. Finn, was mine and my Fiance's (Cordero) "first child" together. He is your typical "boy" he wants to spend his days outside playing in the mud and with frogs. Be prepared to hear about him and how he decided to ruin my day.

I decided that 2019 was the year of ME. I was going to invest in myself ans share it with all my friends and family. This journey is going to include great products for all of my customers, kits so they can learn how to do things themselves and so much more. So thank you for joining me on this crazy journey!
